We are the only school offering live classes in the classroom in Washington. We will continue to offer access to our live courses on Zoom in addition to the self-study materials. Zoom students will have the books mailed out by the next business day following receipt of the order. The link for the Zoom course will be sent both the work night before class as well as the day of class. Your books will be mailed to the billing address used at checkout unless you tell us otherwise in the “Additional Information” section at checkout. Choose “Yes, mail textbooks” if you are an in-person Live Lecture student and want to receive the books before class. Our online self-study courses continue to be available.
Slater All Lines Insurance School offers live-lecture insurance classes to help students prepare for the Washington State insurance producer exams for agents and brokers. These are available both in-person in our classroom or on Zoom. We offer weekday classes, as well as occasional weekend classes. Since 1991, we have been helping students pass the state exam, with fantastic first-time test success. Pre-license classes do not count toward the required Continuing Education hours for license renewal.
Our live-lecture insurance classes are held from 9 am – 6 pm. Each line of insurance is a two-day class; for example, Property and Casualty is a four-day class. Personal Lines (non-commercial P&C) runs 2 1/2 days.
Life-only is a 2-day class and Disability-only is a 2-day class, with one day on common laws each. By combining them and eliminating the duplicate topics, we cover all the topics over a 3-day L&D class. If you are taking life-only, you will be with us for the first 2 days, while disability-only is the last 2 days. L&D students have 3 class days total.
All classes cover Washington State Laws and Rules.
The key to understanding the information and how to take the exam is repetition and recognition. We will send you a homework quiz to help reinforce the material and review it the next morning. Our online classroom quizzes and testing tips further complement the essential steps between learning the information and being ready to take the state exam.
Included with each lecture class is a hard-copy textbook and FREE access to our Online Classroom and the practice quizzes immediately after class signup. Years of positive feedback have shown Slater All Lines’ practice exam simulations to be instrumental in helping students pass the state exams. We recommend getting 85% on the online practice quizzes to help you pass the exam the first time. Take the exam within a week of class ending.
Please arrive at 8:50 A.M. on the first day of class to pick up your study materials, unless you have them shipped beforehand. Please assume you are accepted into the class you have registered for, as no confirmation beyond the receipt will be sent to you. There is a cancellation fee of $25 if you cancel in advance of the start date of your scheduled class. No refunds will be issued after class starts.
