Life & Disability
Our online insurance courses are designed for those students who can’t attend one of our on-site lecture classes due to time or convenience. While Slater All Lines Insurance School always recommends attending a lecture insurance class whenever possible due to the more personalized approach and availability of instructors, our self-study program is the next best thing.
In order to be an insurance producer in Washington State, a licensee must complete 20- hours per line of insurance of study time to be eligible to take the state insurance exam. For example, if you need to study for your Life and Disability state exams, you will need to study for at least 40 hours (20 credits each).
All courses include Washington State Laws and Rules. Each self-study program gives you a 90-day access pass to our Online Classroom. In our Online Classroom you will find hundreds of interactive practice exam questions and our PDF color-coded reading tutorials.
If you wish to have the hard-copy textbooks mailed to you make sure you add that option to your order below. They will be sent out the same day via Media Mail (during office hours). For the state exam, everything you can be graded on is contained in the online reading tutorials, however using our online practice exams can be crucial to your success on the exam.
Upgrading from self study to the live lecture course is available if done within 90 days of the original purchase date. Call in or send an email saying when you would like to come to class. Payment of difference is due on the first day of class or may be done ahead of time via the phone or in person. Online courses are not eligible for Refunds.
